Loretta Murillo

Loretta Murillo  July 19, 1957 – December 30, 2013   Loretta, age 56, was born in Torrance but grew up in Carson and passed away in El Cajon, CA. Loretta loved to laugh, and smile; she was proud of her Native American culture and enjoyed all types of music. She graduated from Carson High School.She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved her family, friends and community. Loretta was selfless, loving and compassionate throughout her life. Even through her struggles, she used her faith to get her through the hard times. Loretta is survived by Margaret Murillo (mother), Rudolph Murillo, Jr. (brother), Charlotte Ysias (sister), Bernadette Farouqi (sister), Autumn Aguilar (daughter), Mercedes Murillo (daughter), Rebecca Colton (daughter), Sarah Colton (daughter), Alexis Murillo (granddaughter) Oliver Moller (grandson), Evangeline Hernandez (granddaughter). She was predeceased by Rudolph Murillo, Sr. (father), Virginia Dominguez (sister), Linda Murillo (sister). Services: Viewing will be held at Douglass & Dunaway Mortuary on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. Funeral will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Wilmington Cemetery, 605 East O. Street, Wilmington, CA 90744 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, our mother loved roses, Memorial funds have been established but we will also accept donations of whatever anyone can give.
